Today I'm excited to be sharing my layout for the Dusty Attic October sketch challenge.
Here's the sketch:
I love that there are three photos on this sketch. Here's what I created:
I wanted to scrap about our family travel bug so I chose three photos from three very different places that we've visited. I was a bit shocked when I went searching for photos when I realised how few travel pics I have with all four of us in it. Mental note - hand the camera to other people more often!
To make the background, I first stenciled and stamped some patterns onto white cardstock. I printed relevant maps from the internet, tore and cut them to fit the page then circled the locations that the photos were taken in. I used the Geo Tags along with twine and brads to highlight those locations. I added some stamping over the top of the maps too.
I've used a section from the Around the World panel and a Swirly Vine behind the photos and added chevrons from the large Chevron Panel. I've used Him & Her people down the bottom of the page and used three different Dusty Attic alphas for the title.
Most of the chipboards are coated in Tinby Metallic Melts. I adore the gorgeous colours I've been able to create with these. I'm having a bit of a silver thing lately and I've used quite a bit of it on this layout.
Don't forget that Dusty Attic now sells retail! You can find the site here. The Dusty Attic products I used are:
Bookman ABC Set
Typewrite ABC Set
Tile ABC Set
Around The World
Swirly Vine #4 small
Chevron Panel large
Him & Her Border
and mini Him & Her
Geo Tags
Thanks for dropping in today!
Happy scrappin'!
