Imagine Anything

Hello again! I have a confession to make - I made a bit of a boo-boo with my posts. I accidentally published my two Scrappy Chat Designs posts early. As soon as I realised my mistake I took them offline but if you think you've seen these before, then you might have!

Anyway, I had a whole lot of fun playing with my new 'Imagine Anything' kit from Scrappy Chat Designs. I adore this kit - it's full of gorgeous vintage papers and cool embellishments. They're all perfectly co-ordinated to help you get your pages done and into your albums.

Here's my first layout:

I fiddled with my photo a bit to give it a vintage feel and added some Thickers and a bit of spray to the background. Everything else came in the kit!

For my second layout I chose a photo from the same fun night but made a very different page.

I've used the doily in two ways in this layout. I've also used the dolly peg that was in the kit in a technique on my background. Scrappy Chat Designs members will receive a Tech Sheet with step by step instructions showing how I made this page.

Vintage Scrappy Chat

Hello again! Thanks for popping in.

I have a new layout to share using the "Vintage Garden" kit from Scrappy Chat Designs. Unlike my last layout using this kit, this time I have utilised both the 'vintage' and the 'garden' aspect of the kit.

Here's what I made:

Even though the papers that I used are quite floral - and vintage - I still managed to add my more modern touch to them.

On this layout I show a great way for using up alpha stickers. I stamped onto my background paper, stuck my alphas on top then painted over them. When the paint dried I carefully peeled the stickers off to show the different layers underneath. Cool!

I die cut a shape from the foil card and added Metallic Lustre on top. The gorgeous butterflies came from one of the papers.

Nothing Vintage Garden About This!

Hello friends!

Video Tutorials at Scrappy Chat Designs!

Hello there! It's my turn over at Scrappy Chat Designs to design the main layouts for this month's kit. And what a fab kit it is! I had so many ideas for what to make I had to limit myself to only three layouts. I could have easily made more!

The kit is called "Summer Fun" and is full of sunny papers and oodles of interesting bits and bobs. However, the standout product to me is the new Colour Crush powders. These are SO COOL! Today I have a layout to share that I made for Scrappy Chat Designs. I used the new "Nestled" kit which has fabulous Authentique papers - don't you just love the thick quality of these papers? - plus a fab product called Patina, plus calico, twine, metal shim and metal embellishments. Woohoo!

Something Wonderful in Year 12

Hi there! I'm back with you to share my second layout using the Something Wonderful kit from Scrappy Chat Designs. The papers and the colours in this are gorgeous. I also love the yummy Shimmerz and there's a great versatile background stamp plus other goodies.

I've used some interesting punching techniques to create see-through layers on this one.

A Rich, Luxurious Scrappy Chat page

Hello there! I'm back today to share my first layout using the totally amazing "A Time to Dream" kit for Scrappy Chat Designs. Oh my gosh, I adore this kit!. The products in it just blew me away! There are stunning papers from Ken Oliver which have a very cool shiny surface and amazing designs. There is a stencil and the most beautiful beads I have ever worked with. There is a very cool product called Color burst as well as ephemera, book paper and cardstock. Wow!

Scrappy Chat Designs teams up with Kraft+!

Hello there! Today I'd like to share with you a layout I made using the gorgeous "Favourite Little Something" Kit from Scrappy Chat Designs. Scrappy Chat Designs is a sponsor over at Kraft + this month so I'm entering the challenge with this one too.

Here's the Kraft + inspirational photo. You also need to add yellow paint.

And here's what I made using this month's Scrappy Chat Designs kit:

I was inspired by the many vertical lines and the textural feel in the Kraft+ photo.

As usual, there are exciting and fabulous products in the Scrappy Chat Designs kit. Apart from the Kaisercraft and Prima papers, there are cardstock, straws, twine, Stampendous Lux Flakes and, my favourite, Faber-Castell Texture Luxe. This product is amazing! The gold is so intense yet still holds it's shape and body so well.

I added some yellow enamel dots from a previous kit and outlined them in black pen. If you don't have any enamel dots just paint some paper with yellow paint, punch out some circles and add Glossy Accents on top. Easy peasy!
