Here's what I made:
I adore this photo of my daughter. She can be so quiet sometimes and so out there at other times!
Here is the gorgeous mood board by the equally gorgeous
Valia Katzaki. I think it's pretty obvious that my influences were the pink and gold colours but I also used flowers and leaves and I added the quote into the main flower cluster. I think any girl that can pull off a pic like this has a very bright future!
I was quite deliberate about where I put the Magicals that form the pink spray behind the photo. I wanted to accentuate that feel of the energy radiating out from my daughter. This photo was actually taken in a room with a really cluttered background, so I photoshopped the background out which also made her stand out more. By making the photo background all white, then leaving it as an almost complete 6 x 4 photo, I was really able to play with the white photo on white cardstock concept.
I kept the title simple - and very self-explanatory! - and coated it with gold paint. I then added gold
Metallic Melts to just the bottom half for some extra interest.
